Contracted by JISC to develop an exciting series of case studies to highlight the good practice of the following JISC services to the Further Education sector: JANET, JISC Collections, JISC e-Learning Team, JISC Netskills, UK Access Management Federation
LSIS - Online WBL toolkit LSIS - Online WBL toolkit
Working closely with LSIS on the design, piloting, production of learning materials and digital learning resources for phase one and two of the Work-Based Learning online toolkit. QTP also worked with Tintisha Technologies and LSIS to develop quality interactive online resources that would stimulate and support managers in the workplace.
Leading transformation from marginal to mainstream LSIS: eQuIP: Leading transformation from marginal to mainstream
QTP Ltd was contracted by LSIS to produce a multimedia publication highlighting the success of their eQUIP programme. Six case studies were produced and published by LSIS, together with a DVD of the edited interviews. The case studies focused on the following organisations:
  • Blackpool and The Fylde College
  • Bromley College
  • Fareham College
  • Lincoln College
  • National Star College
  • St Helens College
LSN - Professional Development Framework for e-learning LSN - Professional Development Framework for e-learning
Working in partnership with LSN and St Helens College, managed a project to design learning resources and digital learning objects to support the LSN eCPD framework. QTP also assisted in the design, writing and production of 36 PDF eCPD support documents and 55 interactive Flash digital learning resources to support the LSN Professional Development Framework for e-learning.
QIA - e-learning in Business QIA - e-learning in Business
QTP Ltd and associate Kevin Donovan worked closely together to develop the e-learning in business Standards Unit materials into user friendly, interactive e-learning resource. The suite of resources aimed to help practitioners establish and share effective practice when using e-learning in business. The aim was to enable practitioners to use the resource to 'add value' by integrating e-learning activities into teaching and learning. Throughout the resources there were references to useful e-learning approaches and activities to enhance learning.
LSN/LSC/LSIS Putting the Q into quality project management LSN/LSC/LSIS Putting the Q into Quality Project Management
Dr Bill Lockitt, QTP Ltd Managing Director, worked for some time with LSN staff and a large number of FE practitioners throughout the UK to deliver the highly successful QUILT (Quality in Information Learning Technology) national programme. At the end of the three-year programme QUILT was replaced by the LSN 'Q Projects'. Having undertaken a number of reviews of QUILT and Q projects Bill identified the need for a practical project management publication that would enable practitioners to complete complex e-learning/technology projects successfully. The publication has been well received by the sector and is still used today by LSN and Further Education to promote good project management practice.

Contacted by Cundall Johnston and Partners LLP, a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy offering civil, structural, electrical and mechanical engineering services, to undertake a consultancy service for a new build project at Sussex Downs College.
Barclays Bank Marine Lake Environmental Day Barclays Bank Marine Lake Environmental Day
As part of its ongoing commitment to the environment staff from QTP Ltd and Rhyl Environmental Association assisted Barclays Bank and Denbighshire County Council in the organisation of a volunteer day at Marine Lake, Rhyl, North Wales.
